Has anyone ever come across any male Loiseau descendant of the Canadian Pioneer Loiseaus that has done YDNA testing?

I believe that Brian was looking for a male with surname Loiseau, since Y-DNA is inherited by sons from their fathers. Based on the name, Marie Magdelaine Loiseau would appear to be a female. If so, your son won't have any Loiseau Y-DNA inherited from her.

The plot is thicker than this G2G question assumes. There are as many as 8 lines of Loiseau descendants of pioneers who immigrated to Canada in 17th century:

• 1637 loiseau, francoeur pierre
• 1641 loiseau, lucas
• 1646 loiseau lesot, pierre
• 1666 gauthier loiseau, jean
• 1691 loiseau chalu, antoine
• 1694 loiseau jean, baptiste
• 1755 loiseau voghel, etienne
• unknown noiseux loiseau, jean

Thanks so much for the feedback everyone!...I only know of 2 males that have done any YDNA testing with my surname...Me and my 2nd cousin...I’ve done testing w/ FTDNA and can’t find any other Loiseau males who have YDNA tested in the entire database accept for me and my cousin. I’ve been looking all over and figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask here. I was aware that there were multiple pioneer lines, but I didn’t know there were eight of them...Thanks for sharing that insight! At this point, I think it would be nice just have more males with the Loiseau surname YDNA test in hopes to build a surname cluster. Another possibility is that other Loiseau males have YDNA tested but kept all their settings private.

Loiseau-50 / Jacques Loiseau was born in Tourouvre on October 20, 1619 and does not figure in PRDH Pioneer list, which only includes men with posterity for any given last name search.  Refer to article included in Loiseau-50 biblio entitled "Deux colons célibataires des débuts de la colonie".

not personally, but I would add Quebecois tag to that lot, since there are lots of that name that show up here.

doesn't look like it from a quick glance, they link to Denis Beauregard's site, and he has no Loiseau in his list of fathers' lines for DNA
