A complex maze needs clearing up.

After three hours of back and forth while I'm too tired, I've come to the conclusion that I can't handle this.

1) The same Abigal (Abigail) Ingalls formerly Emery (Emery-771) was born in 1668 m Henry Ingalls (b 1656) m. 1688. They had children including two Josephs. One Joseph (b 1697) then proceeded to marry his mother. I don't think so.

2) The two Joseph Ingalls-1251 and Joseph Ingalls-355 seem to be duplicates. (The Joseph Ingalls above)

3) Then Abbott-969 and Abbott 3260 (wives of above Joseph Ingalls) are also duplicates.

Will someone tell me I am wrong?  I'll look for an answer in the morning, I live at USA Central time.... Or maybe I'll stay awake and take a nap tomorrow. I am mesmerized.

A good first step would be to remove the marriage of Joseph Ingalls-356 to his mother. It contradicts the inscription on her gravestone about her being a widow, and doesn't have a source to support it.

What do the sources give for the date of births for the Josephs?

Born 1720, 1723 or 1732?? Has someone switched some digits?

Ingalls-355 originally was born in 1720. A bit later a different member changed his birth to 1723 and gave him a wife and mother. The original member intends him to be the son of -356 so that seems OK.

-1251 has a different birth date 1732. Is he the same person? Perhaps you could ask the profile manager who it is meant to be. -1251 didn't have parents until you added them. Is 1732 a typo for 1723 or is it a different person? If it is a different person, who actually married Sarah Abbott?

-356 (not -355) is married to his own mother and that should be removed, as it contradicts the gravestone saying she was a widower as reported in that book page.
