merging profiles with multiple spouses being rejected

I am finding pending merge after merge of obviously the same people being rejected because the spouses may be different. Does a GEDCOM produce a profile for each spouse and partner separately. I have the higher number profile and the person who created the lower one created both profiles when importing them. And I really think before the people move on to create more messes they should be required to fix the ones they created. And I don't have profile IDs but this is happening alot. Also some merges are being rejected that are matched down to the last detail as far up line and down line as I can go and PM keeps rejecting without explaination. And one particular profile is right in the middle of a duplicate log jam and is holding up alot of clean up.  What do we do about rejected merges that as far as we can tell should be merged , after contacting the Pm'.

Hi Trudy,

When you come across someone who is rejecting what seem to be obvious matches you can email a team member or info @ wikitree and we can look into it and speak with the profile manager if necessary.
