How to join a project?

This is a basic question:  How do I join an existing project?

Each project can have different rules. What you do is find the Project page by starting at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Projects and following the instructions for the specific project(s) you are interested in. The individual project pages usually have detailed instructions.
