Adding details to Pope Pius VII

Question

Pope Pius VII is connected through my paternal line, and I have all sorts of (properly sourced) details on his family, descendants and ancestors.  But I'm new here and for the life of me can't figure out how to connect him in as the profile is protected.  Can someone point me in the right direction?

[Edit] So now I'm on the trusted list for this profile, but if I try to edit his parents I get "You cannot edit this relationship because Chiaramonti-1 is a Project-Protected Profile. Please contact project members by following the link to post in G2G from the Collaboration section below. Be sure to include the project tag on your post. Thank you!"

I thought that's what I'd done by making this original post?!

Go to his profile page and search for the word Trusted. Click on that link and mention the same info you did here in your question, and ask to be added to the trusted list. Within a few days, you should get a message saying you are authorized and when you go to the profile again, you will see the edit tabs.

Actually, the profile is project protected so only a profile manager or Leader can add parents. (And I think project protection will need to be removed temporarily to do so?)

Post a comment on the page with the names of the parents (and their profile IDs if they already have profiles here) and include your source for the identification of his parents.  Then hopefully the profile manager will make the change.
