I entered birth date 10 Dec 1890 an death date 2 Jun 1987 for my grandfather and it says death date before birth. Why?

Is there a chance you were entering DOD = 2 Jun 1887 ?

I sometimes get an error like that if there is an extra space between the day and month. When I remove the extra space I am able to save
