Is anyone but me, having serious problems with Ancestry?

I am having serious problems with Ancestry and their hint system.  I think they added too many new things to their current system and the system cannot handle it.  The system seems to keep crashing.  No matter what time of day or night I go on the problems are still the same.

I am getting frustrated with the situation as the system is running incredibly slow even at 2:00am.

Yep. That's why I stopped working this morning . I had a couple windows open and ancestry froze. I couldn't get out. Had to hard reboot my comp.
Me too.  Hanging and crashing. I've cleared my cache and it's still unreliable. Frustrating.
Hi Robin, I don't know if it's your computer or not.  When I start with ancestry I had Fritz all on one screen.  Then recently they took Fritz down and won't put it back up.  I have had to start the various of families that made up Fritz on separate screens, which will work out better in the long run.  I also notice that every time I go back now all the docs I had seen and accepted are gone.  Good thing I print them all off and keep them.  Of course you have to accept them again.

I use to use myHeritage, but never liked it as much as ancestry.  I use Familysearch, but I find it harder to locate information.

Having the same issues myself today. Some days are better then others, today wasn't one of them. I also use FamilySearch.org;  they have a lot of the same items that ancestry has like census reports and FAG info with the link to the actual FAG page.  You just need to register but it is free.

Dorothy,

I use family search as well.  I dropped myheritage when my current plan ran out.

Thanks for responding.

Yep,  it is going very slow and I have to keep reloading pages since they don’t load properly.

Yipe,

I requested it to find a profile and it kept taking me to the screen with all the profiles on it.  They charge too much for all this mess.

Thanks for responding.

I am guessing the reason that Ancestry.com is so slow is due to their recent Big Sale of their DNA kits ($59).  I suspect there are A LOT of newbies trying out their 7 day trial period while waiting for their kit to be processed.
