my name is carroline and i am in search of my grabdfathers family line, rasmussen, lars was born 18th january 1898, place of birth , cophenhagen, with 2 sisters that i know of, karoline born in 1894,and petra born in the year 1896. gg grandfathers name is jorgen , or lorgen, year of birth 1868, gg grandmothers name, bertha sorensen, year of birth 1872 ?, so far , not much has been found, i do have an application of registration to sydney australia, 28 / 3 /1918, the name of the vessel ported was port alma to london, occupation fireman, date of issue , 8 / 3 / 16, place of issue , newcastle on lyne, then further , no: of certificate 704, date 16 / 7 / 17, place of issue , port adelaide. the personal description, is height,5ft, 11, blue eyes, reddish hair, medium build, with a scar over each eye ? i was also able to find a cencus record for nannasguard, and some-one called hulda rasmussen, though i know not who or where this person lays within the family. there is a genetic problem within us , annurysms, aortic and cerebal, my grandfather lars died of a cerebal bleed that had been happening for hours, my mother died of an aortic annurysm , and i survived a cerebal annuryism, dying twice, grandfather didnt and wouldnt talk of his homeland, and my mum and aunt knew nothing aside of what i know stated here. ive been through births , deaths, and marriages, cannot find any links to karoline or petra, nor to any one else, ive hit just about every site i can, but have only asked a few , and think i may be able to gain some answers here, i would appreciate any help given, a pointing in the way to somewhere, and with that , wait here in hope, thank you very much for reading this and hope to hear from someone
