well I have ordered the book "Civil War Justice in Southeast Missouri", that tells a story about my great great grandparents John B and Missouri Coffman - I am told.  And it may give me some information I am looking for.  I am in search of death certificates on John B Coffman, Missouri Coffman, Ellis C Coffman, and Mollie Coffman who married John V Malone so at her death she would of been Mollie (Coffman) Malone - unless she married again.  And I cannot find a birth cert.on Ellis C Coffman. Ancestry.com. Web: Missouri, Death Certificate

John B. Coffman - Deceased April 16, 1911 St. Francois #15546

16 Jan 1911, Belknap Cemetery, St Francois https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/11478920

Day and year match. These might be the same person, maybe a problem with transcribing. No hard record to look at, just the transcription.

He is listed in the 1910 census as the 85 yr old uncle of Mary Odgers, (the dau of Barton Belknap) Perry, St Francois, Missouri

OMG thank you I have search for quite a few weeks and found alot of same name but not his.

Do you think you can find Ellis C Coffman grave/death he was born in Farmington missouri I believe born in 1854 possible death 1905.  wife was mollie mary coffman

This one is my grandpa father and i have found a marriage to mollie blakenship but then no death or grave nothing he just gone.
I cant find the death of Ellis. Mary was married for 2 years in the 1910 census, which makes me think it was early 1908 or earlier.

The death cert. index where I found John is for 1910-1962 which is why Ellis is not showing up.

I did find a lot of census info and added it to your profiles. And will keep my eye out for Ellis!
Terry
