Information on the Simpson family from marybough/Ipswich

Question

I’m looking for information on the Simpson family, particularly Robert Simpson. His wife was Margaret Hush. His children were James Colquhoun Simpson, Vivian Desmond Simpson and Robert? Noel Simpson. James Colquhoun Simpson had a son names Beresford James Simpson.

 

They lived in Ipswich and Maryborough, Queensland.

I think Robert may have come from Scotland.

Robert is originally from

 

I seem to have hit a brick wall at Robert.

I’m also looking for any living Simpson’s of this line/relatives of the family

Without more information it might be impossible to find him.

Have you any dates for him for anything,?

I just did a search of Qld Deaths from 1880 to 1920 and ended up with approx 14 Robert SIMPSONS. At least 3 were born in Scotland or England the rest born local.  Most had their parents named,

Have you done a search of the Passenger lists of Immigrants into Brisbane ?  If you can find him there it will give you some information on him.

There was a Margaret died 9 Aug 1970.

I'm afraid it doesn't give the location in Qld until you buy it, but going on the other names that are listed it seems to be rather similar.
