Trees Match - DNA does not. Pope - Neshoba, Miss

Question

I need help confirming that Mary E. Coghlan (Pope-3011) was in fact a POPE- Tindol - Adcock. I am not finding a genetic connection with others that are family.

If you claim any of these lines and have been DNA tested, please compare with mine to see if we connect. Trying to confirm my maternal line. I cannot find a Mary E Pope in the Neshoba, Miss 1870 census. She was married by the time of the 1880 census. There is no marriage record showing her maiden name.  in 1870 there is a Jonna E Pope born to William and Sarah Pope in 1859 But no Mary E. And in 1880 Jonna E is listed again.

I am not sure how POPE became attributed to Mary E. last name. Was it in a bible? Family Lore?
