Research shows he was born out of wedlock to Catherine Coger. May spell his name as Boon. Speculation as to whether his father was a descendant of Squire Boone Jr or another unrelated Boone of Pennsylvania.

The father of this person is Samuel Boone, born January 1, 1818, buried in the same location.

If you feel this is the person you are looking for please contact me.
Samuel is a direct relative of mine and I can possibly add more for you.

Jacob was born in 1805 so his father couldn't have been born in 1818. I apologize if I made that unclear in my question. I appreciate your help though!

I'm a descendant of Jacob's, too.   My cousin recently did a DNA test that showed Jonathan Morgan Boone (1730-1808 and Daniel's brother) was Jacob's father!!   I find this odd, because not only was he married with a whole lot of kids, he was a lot older than Catherine Coger!!
