I don't have access to images at this time.  Here are two links.  HH #26, Family including Nepolitan B Harman, Nora, Jane, Eirk, Nora, Ellsworth and Dave.  ?'s  1.  Dave should be Dora, maybe even Dove.  2.  But, Dave should be a female.  How do you interpret this written information on the census?  HH #25, is this a different address from HH #26?  Are there any others living in the home (other than Thomas, age 5, and Irene, age 1).  What I do know is Thomas (HH #25 is the son of Nora Harman HH #26)  I greatly appreciate any additional or corrective info that was recorded on the census for these two HHs.

Hi Tam,  Upon looking at the two pages of the census from your links here is what I see:  1 - The Harman family is Household 26 on pg.12A and continued on the first two lines of pg.12b. 2 - The census enumerator mis-numbered the next household resulting in two #26 households. I would think that since the indication is a different "visit" even though the numbers are repeated, the families are not in the same dwelling. I have seen many mis-numbered census entries and pages. 3 - If you know "Dave" is not the correct name (listed as "son" and tallied as "F" under sex) then look for the family in the 1930 census. There are many errors in the census records and as such I would not be too concerned if your information varied from what is recorded in the census unless it is reprated arcoss census decades. HH #25 has a 5 year and 1 year old child with no head of household.  Thomas is the 5 year old.  He is my grandfather.  There is a possibility that Nora (mother of Tommy, in HH #26) had an affair and Tommy has a different father.  Until today I have never found Tommy in any census, so I was thrilled.  If Tommy was not allowed to stay in the house of Napoleon (Nora's husband), then what adult is caring for him in 1920.

As far as I know Tommy lived his life in Kentucky but he got his SS card in Ohio.  Tommy spent all his educational years at the Kentucky School for the Deaf (KSD) and I'm wondering how to locate the KSD census for 1930.  My grandmother was deaf too and attended KSD.  I've been told that after they married the family ran Tommy off, and he would disappear for years.  It was a fairly effective form of birth control though.  Only three kids in their life time.
I do get it.  They are in the same household.  With the info about the affair I was just curious if the arrangement was in fact different and not a census error.  I have my own Where's "Waldo" [insert Tommy]!
