What can I say about Laura? Well, not only is she a great person to talk to in the Weekend chat. She helped me out with a huge problem this week. When I registered, I had this brick wall ancestor named Elias Felker. To say he had a bit of a drama laden story is a bit of an understatement. Let's just say if I sold it to Hollywood it'd become Oscar fodder with Martin Scorcese as a director. And Chris Pratt would play his iliegit son, Jeremiah. =)
Anyway she poured through the censuses last night until the wee hours (For me on the east coast of the US) and we came up with two possible fathers for Elias. It was like a sick version of Maury Povich and the match maker game. We reasoned that Joseph was the grandfather because he is listed as a dad on Jeremiah's death certificate in Haverhill. So we put two and two together and I made this profile:
