Anyone else hoard public records?

Question

So in my quest to find records to source info of profiles i made to excitably, I've started printing off records, I have the records for my great grandfather and his siblings, all 12 if them. And am now starting with there cousins. So i jave well over 100 records so far.
Maybe I'm crazy for doing this and liking to have all the info at my finger tips (literaly) but im woundering if anyone else fills binders with printed records and sources?

I would if I had the room to store my binders neatly so I could get to them when ever I wanted. Also, Ink could get expensive.... unless you have a laser printer.

Instead, I have a WHOLE BUNCH of files saved on pen drives and even cloud drives. The cloud drive comes in handy all the time.

Whenever I am at family gatherings I always find myself wanting to access the records I have saved....(for show and tell), and with the cloud drive I can easily access the files on my tablet.  :)

I do the same for close family up to my great grandparents.

It is nice to see my Ancestors handwriting and signatures on the old birth and death notices and wills. I show them to family members and I also like paging through them every once in a while.

I have spent hours in the National Archives photographing some of these original documents and usually can't wait to get home and print them.

Reason I joined Wikitree was to be able eventually to abandon the wardrobe full of documents I had accumulated.
