Did you have point in your research where you were at a Brick Wall and it was solved?

Add this category to your profile for bragging rights!

[[Category:Brick Walls Solved]]  Copy and paste this in the Biography section above the first heading.

I have one in my tree that has eluded my family for years and it is our "Holy Grail"- hopefully one day I can add this category- great idea ! Hope everyone out there finds their answers !

I ususlly add the category family brickwall on stuck profiles and remove it when the solution is found, seems tidier that way.

As virtually every profile was a  brickwall at some time you could end up with millions of profiles in the brickwalls solved category.

Add  [[Category:Family Brickwall]] and then blow it up on G2G and social media so maybe they could be solved????  Interested?
There already is a Family Brickwall category with 125 profiles in it. Would be nice to help them though.
Yes, after your note, I went looking.  As you can tell, I am playing with Categories this AM.

I wonder if we could get Liz to feature any of these in her new project?
I have left a message on her supers thread.
One other comment.  This Brickwall Solved should only be for profiles that have been sitting for years.  I was personally thinking about 25 years or so.
25 years?! Hardly fair to those of us who've barely been alive that long! I'd hate to think that none of my brick walls count as brick walls. :)
LOL  Sorry.  I've been at this a very long time.  A brick wall of three weeks is not the same as one of years.

Good discussion.  Maybe we could come to an agreement on a timeframe?  :)

Isn't it better to place an image "search for parents welcome" or something like that and a subcategory "username's Brickwal" on (the profile that replaces the old) brickwall profile?

I'm not interested in ex-brickwalls, I'm interested in existing brickwalls. These need search actions!

You are right Fred.  It was just a category page that I came across and thought it could be a place to show case how collaboration on Wiki Tree and with other sites can succeed.

Rhian already approached Liz about incorporating the Family Brickwalls in her new project.  So maybe this will be a start.  :)
This is my way to work with my brickwall profiles and to keep control over them.

My subcategory will be <noinclude>[[Category:Fred Bergman's Brickwall]]</noinclude>

example of one of my brickwall profiles (with the mentioned image):
