My wife (Litton433) has an email address but doesn't know a computer from a TV set - can't handle either!  I've loaded her famly data and her DNA number. but now I can't access her DNA linked relatives because she is not a member.  ???  Some guidance please.

When you entered an e-mail address for your wife, you invited her to join WikiTree. From the e-mail she received from WikiTree, follow the instructions to make her a family member on WikiTree. 'She' will have to change her own privacy level and/or she can add you to her trusted list. If that doesn't work, send an e-mail to info@wikitree.com, explain the situation, including your relationship to her, and ask them to remove her e-mail address and invitation and turn her profile back to you as profile manager.

Once you've rectified accessing her account as Kay has explained, you can then change her privacy settings.

Your wife does not need to be a member, since she already has a profile, I think you just need to add her as your spouse. On your own profile edit page you will see on the right hand column "Edit Family" and down a ways "Spouse". When you select ʻeditʻ you will be taken to a screen to add a spouse, the first choice is to enter the profile number for the spouse. Once you do that, she and her ancestors will be attached to your family.

If that does not solve the problem, come back here and ask for help.

This all sounds good, however when I go to the Spouse block she is already listed but with a red dot showing "Prvate" which I cannot change to "Public" in the Privacy section because "she is not a member" !!

This is becoming a lot of B/S!!

The problem is her privacy level. In order to show DNA matches, it can't be restricted privacy level. Go to the Privacy tab and choose a more open level.

I attempt to change her privacy level but cannot do so.  Instead, I am informed that she has not joined.

well, then... from your other related question: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/464812/how-do-i-delete-or-change-my-spouses-email-address

It appears you've somehow lost control of your wife's profile when you added an email address to it, which in effect, invites her to be a member in her own right (though that side-affect is not clear when creating new profiles).

Have you got that straightened out yet?

Looks like the privacy level is set correctly now too. I see her DNA info.

Next, you'll have to connect her to more relatives, in order to discover more matches.
