Oh, I love these namesakes -- particularly those pious Christians who were wildly famous in the 19th century and became the namesakes of numerous children, but whose names are unknown to us.
A long time ago I did a profile for Harriet Newell, who (with her husband) accompanied Adoniram Judson and his wife on a missionary journey in 1812, died on the journey, and became famous as a New England Protestant martyr. When I saw that an ancestor of mine had a sibling with the first name Harriet and middle name, Newell I wondered who our Newell relatives were. Then I discovered that Harriet Newell was a popular namesake in the 19th century and I read about her story. After I joined WikiTree, I profiled her here -- and I researched her genealogy so I could connect her to the tree, because that's something we do at WikiTree.
I never did categorize Harriet, but both Adoniram and Harriet qualify as Notable because they are profiled in Wikipedia. Lorenzo Dow was another minister who was a popular namesake. He's categorized under his denomination and Category: Ministers. You could do the same with Adoniram Judson. And please try to research his genealogy so you can connect him to the tree.
