Judy, if this is the case: you would like to stay a member of WikiTree and simply unsubscribe from email notifications, you will find the option to unsubscribe located at the bottom of those same emails.  Click the link and follow any prompts... that's it!

In my case, I did click on the link at the bottom of a message. It was very difficult for me to find where to unsubscribe. I am not sure but probably the link does not work unless I am signed in. That should be fixed somehow.

This site is the only site of very many I have seen that makes it very difficult to use the link in the message to find where to unsubscribe from. For many sites it is simply a matter of clicking on the link in the message independent of logging in.

For kicks I just clicked on the “unsubscribe” link located as expected at the bottom of a WikiTree daily email. From there it asked me to login (thankfully, as I like reasonable layers of security). One click from the drop-down list gave me the “settings” page where I could unsubscribe or manage other account issues.

I say you are right in that some are easier to unsubscribe from, just one click.

My opinion is that WikiTree still makes it very easy as long as you don’t mind logging in one last time :)
