How do I connect this image to a free space item?

I wanted to share this family photo of Ruhama Cottrill with the community. Location: unknown. Date: unknown.

I keep getting the message That WIkiTree Space Profile does not exist.

Hello Lance it's because you changed the name of the page,  you could add the photo in the bio ? Or try adding the image with the original name.Terry

I do not think that changing the name did it. I only changed the name because it was not linking.

 

I am thinking that maybe there is a delay in the information updating on the servers and it couldn't find the wiki space because I had just created it before I uploaded the photo.

If you had added another free space page then merged them the name of the page will change but just changing the name on the page doesn't work the original name will still be the URL. I think because you added commas to the original space page name this is the problem I have had the same problem when I have add commas etc Wikitree has problems with that if you want to add a photo already on Wikitree to another page.If you want to change a name on a free space page you have to add another page with the correct name than merge the two pages.

I've had issues with Free-space pages before (with punctuation), with the same error message.

What I did was create a new Free-space page with the name without punctuation - made it shorter - and then uploaded to the new one, changing the Page name to suit afterwards (as that's how it appears on the page title) which does not affect the Space name.

Then I merged the old Space page into the new one. That got rid of the redundant page, and I could keep all the information I already entered.

Have you tried to upload it to the space and see if WT finds a duplicate?

Space page names that contain punctuation can be challenging...

EDIT: I just uploaded it to free space so that it can easily be placed elsewhere...
