Thomas Blackman, born 1530 in England, died 1560

Question

Looking for the parents of Thomas Blackman, born 1530 in England, died 1560. May have been living in Lapley, Staffordshire, in 1541. Married a Jane Barton , who was born around 1532 in England. They had a son Edward Blackman, who was born 1550, who is my ancestor,

He is my 14 great grandfather.  I have a reference he was born in Ireland.  He died in London and was buried and married at St Andrews by the wardrobe.  His family records and will are listed as being in the London Metropolitan Archives.  I have yet to find this info.

I am in Va.  I would love to compare notes as my direct line also moved to NC in the early 1700s with a land grant from the king.  Originally, Nicholis Blackman came in 1619 to West Shirley 100, another land grant.  He was a mariner and part of the Virginia company.  His son, Jeremiah, ran the East India trading company for atleast a year and there are many English court record of them before the crown and House of commons and Lords.  Brian Blackman is my facebook.
