Two more Notables passed away - Richard Hatch and Irwin Corey

Amazing that the year's barely begun and it seems that a day can't go by without someone notable passing away.

Richard Hatch died Tuesday, 7 February. He was most well known for his role as Captain Apollo from Battlestar Gallactica (the one from the 70's).

And Irwin Corey, the World's Foremost Authority, the king of comedic confusion, and the master of doublespeak died Monday at age 102 in Manhattan.

Was very sad to learn that Apollo has passed away.

The original Battlestar Galactica was one of my most favourite sci-fi Tv shows when I was a teenager.

I did not like the remake however.

You and me both, Robynne! I thought the remake was more of less a cheap knock-off on the original, and while the reveal at the end was a poor attempt at trying to placate the fans of the original, it fell far short in my opinion.
