Is there an unsourced template or category for mythical historical people?

Hi, I am working through Irish unsourced profiles for the source-a-thon.  Many of these are mythical Irish kings from the Dark Ages with the profiles deriving from ancient annals or other sources of "authority" such as "A History of Ireland" by Geoffrey Keating.  These profiles are clearly unsourced and the facts can never be accurately verified.  Therefore, rather than "clog" up the Unsourced Categories, is there an alernative template or category that could  be used instead?  For eg, I was thinking of creating a category called "Ireland Ancient Nobility" and parking all of those old legendary kings in there rather than leaving them as "unsourced".  Lots of health warnings on the page to make clear they are all "unsourcable".  I would appreciate people's thoughts on this.

"Mythical Historical People".....Isn't this an oxymoron?
The proposition sounds very much like attempts to include Astrology and Phrenology within the fields of science.

We have whole groups of people on wikitree working on providing sources to profiles which have none, i.e. Source-o-Thon.  Genealogy is supposed to be about providing proof of one's background instead of legendary profiles which may not have existed at all, at least for wikitree purposes.  We don't need that here.

The profiles you are proposing go back well before the Dark Ages.  There is no way you can prove any of this stuff except for some books which also deal with fairies and leprechauns.  Many cultures, and not just Irish, have "trustworthy" genealogies concocted by nobles and Kings which provide "ironclad" genealogy for those folks straight back to the local Gods. That is not genealogy: it's propaganda and balderdash for Stone Age illiterate peasants.

I am a fan of legends and such, and have stood at the foot of Scotia's grave in Co. Kerry.  But please, use your time and our resources to provide sources for REAL people.
Dan, I can only suggest that Gandalf and his cousins will not be best pleased with you when they read this.
Dan, its a continuing Wikitree problem and full marks to Leigh for tackling it. These profiles already exist under the Wiki Tree masthead - and for the sake of  professionalism; ought to be responsibly controlled in some way.

There's the {{questionable}} template for profiles of people who may not have existed.

Yes, it's already used for all the people from the Icelandic Sagas.

Though really they aren't the same as some of the other people I've put {{questionable}} on.

Leigh, I like the "Ireland Ancient Nobility" category - and now I'm running away 'cause I can this lot stretching back to the Tuatha Dé Danann and that mob.

The thought behind leaving these profiles with the {{questionable}} template is the fear that the next Ancestry import with these profiles attached will just add them back in after they were removed already several times.

I do think, though, that if we keep these profiles we should make a distinction between "questionable" i.e. invented or entirely sourceless people and "mythical" ancestors like, for instance, the mythical ancestors of the Přemyslids who were already mentioned in 11th century texts. I don't have a problem with doing away with them entirely but for the reason mentioned above.
