Further information= Marriage settlement made 1st December 1533 between William Massey , grandfather of William Massey - father Hugh Massey deceased at this date, contract with Richard Cholmondley - cousin of Jane Pershall. Providing the marriage take place before 2 Feb 1534.

Or, Thomas brother of William, and or sisters of Jane , Ellen, Elizabeth. --Any two of five offspring it would appear.  Various tenants and relatives mentioned as is the house called Mosse at Audlem- still standing, and various properties  Denfield, Wrenbury Fryth etc..

The source  is a typed documents held by the Manchester Central Library Archives in Manchester, England.

I have not seen the originals, but may not be able to decipher them anyway. The refs numbers ares C168/C172/172B
