What's your connection to Luke Skywalker? [closed]

You can check your connection to Mark Hamill in the Connection Finder this month.

Hamill was the first to be connected in this month's Connection Combat game -- a Star Wars war to connect Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) or Harrison Ford (Han Solo). Congratulations and thank you, Doug Lockwood, for making the Hamill connection.

My grandson is ecstatic! Today is his 11th birthday and he is a huge Star Wars fan. Of note he is named for Star Wars characters Jacen Anakin. Jacen is the son of Hans and Lea  and we all know where the Anakin comes from. 

Mark and Jacen Anakin are 22nd cousins twice removed

Thanks Chris...may the force be with you! My grown children thought it was pretty cool, too when they found out they are 9th cousins with Luke Skywalker.

Mark Hamill and I are 27 degrees apart and my connection to him is through the Baldwin -Kemp family on my mother's father's father's side. I don't know that I'm related to him by blood, though.

Me, too -- but it's based on some early genealogy that I  think may have been wishful thinking on somebody's part.

And to clarify: My supposed relationship to Mark Hamill is based on the unlikely theory that William Shattuck born 3 May 1628 and William Shattuck born 3 May 1628 are different people, but brothers.
