looking for family of three sisters born whitehurst - Jean Ann, Marjorie and Dorothy.

Question

I'm looking for family members of three sisters born to the Whitehurst family somewhere near Norfolk or Portsmouth, VA.  Jean Ann, Marjorie and Dorothy.  All three were raised in an orphanage - St. Joseph's in Richmond.  Jean married John Gaston Martin and lived in Richmond where they had a daughter, Dawn (me).  I believe Marjorie had at least one child, Frances.  Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide to me.  1/3/2016

Contact Virginia,most States are releasing adoption records.

Virginia is not an open state, meaning they will not release adoption information. Some states do, but not many. We have this information listed in each state, or province record in the resources section by location in the Adoption Angels Project.
