Need help proving that Carl Hauschild (Saxony / Nebraska) is the same as Carl H. (living in Colorado and California)

Question

I am looking for the whereabouts of Carl Hauschild (born about 1873 in Herbergen, Sachsen). He migrated with his family from Saxony to Nebraska in 1881. I am rather confident that he is the same person as Carl Friedrich Hauschild but I am lacking sources to prove this.

Whe have several letters written by his father August during 1883 to 1889 to his former neighbours in Germany. My brother translated them and would like to share them with living descendants of the Hauschild family.  

Any help to establish a connection between the two Hauschild profiles would be highly appreciated.

This helps a lot. I think the information that Carl lived in 1920 in Salinas, California gives me enough confidence to merge the two profiles. It´s rather unlikely to have 2 Carl Hauschild´s with the same age living in Salinas at this time.
