Need Help Finding Parents of Bobbie Lee

Question

I need help again finding the parents.  This time it is for Bobbie Lee, born 18 dec 1908. I believe she was born in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana.  I have written to my father to see if he remembers her maiden name, but no answer yet.  She was the wife of my Great-Uncle Edwin Alexander "Billy" Riley Sr. I am unable to find a birth record but have found a 1920 US Census for a Riley Family in Georgia with a daughter Bobbie Riley born in 1909.  I am still fairly new at this and would like some other opinions.  Ancestery keeps throwing up my Great-Grandmother's name, Annie Elizabeth Luchini, as her mother, but she is the mother-in-law.  Also Lee could be a middle name and not the last name.

I couldn't help much, but I added what little I did find to her biography. According to the 1930 census, her father may have been born in Mississippi, so she and her parents should be on the 1910 and 1920 censuses in Caddo Parish. Guessing her name was Roberta, I found a Mississippi-born Robert L. Lee, but he was a 24-yr-old single boarder in Caddo Parish, so not enough there to help one way or the other. I am finding many Lee's in the Census.  However many of them are listed as Black and my Aunt was White.

Robbie was adopted by Perry Little and Addie Jennings before 1910. She is mentioned on Addie’s obituary in 1952.

That was the clue I needed.  Lee turned out to be her middle name like that of her father.  So these people were her actual parents.   Thank you so much for your help.

Perry and Addie were her adoptive parents. Did you find her biological parents?

I have been looking for birth information and I have not found any.  So I have labled them adoptive.
