what to do with profiles imported from Saunna.ged with nothing but a name?

reject these profiles as possible matches as there is nothing to compare... in some cases not even name at birth.

For Íslandic people with Icelandic names the spelling matters... Jón is not the same as Jon  and "Jónsdóttir family does not exist" nor does "Jonsdottir"

Guðbjörg is correct but I do use Gudbjorg as the correct letter does not exist in English alphabet... In my full name there are 6 letters that do not exist in that alphabet but exist in the Icelandic "alphabet"  As for us... we do not have or use C,Q,Z and W

this does bother me.

Some computer operating systems have a virtual alternate virtual keyboard with the characters you are seeking and in other cases you have to import the alternate language and keyboard into your OS.  I've used it before for Cyrillic lettering.
