This photo is of my husband's grandfather, John Clarence Byer and his two brothers, Herman and Gerald. They grew up in Williamstown, West Virginia and were the sons of Michael John Byer and Betty Bailey Byer. The photo was recently sent to me by my husband's uncle James Bernard Byer, son of John Clarence. Uncle Jim has been sharing many family photos and stories with me, as he has been the family historian for many years. He is now in his 80s. He told me that this photo was taken about 1902-1904 and was taken by a family relation, Donald Byer Williamson, who had a photo studio in his home and developed his own photos.
