There is a Francis Melville aged 10 on 1851 Census for Dalmeny, West Lothian. Father is William Melville and seven siblings on Scotlandspeople.gov.uk

Thank you for your thoughts. Obituary and family letter states Francis(Frank) came to the USA with his parents when the was 7 years old and was born in Dundee or Aberdeen, Scotland. Possible brother George and sister Jeanette.
