Newt Foy-1363 ... my brickwall ancestor

My Great grandfather was William Mack Foy. Born Georgia, US approximately 1862. I found census showing William Foy in Fulgum, GA. with Parents, John and Albina and siblings. All born in Georgia, US. Could not locate parents from there. I tried to trace the siblings. No luck.

William married Louisa Padgett in Columbia County, Florida. They had two sons, Elijah and Rollie. William disappeared in 1894. Louisa remarried the following year.Census takers made an error with Rollie's name and made it Raliegh. His tombstone is Rollie and well as on the plaque in Live Oak's city park as a fallen soldier in World War I. When Louisa remarried she had Elijah and Rollie with her. Again during census in Suwannee County, Florida Elijah and Rollie were given the last name Collins. No idea where that came from. Louisa's second husband's last name was Lane. My grandmother said Louisa had stated that the last time she saw William was through the crack of the door. (?) I had a problem tracking Louisa down. I found out from another ancestry member that Louisa used several names, Rozella Luvella, Louisa. Louisa was on her marriage certificate. I located a John and Albina Foy in Canada. I thought I had hit pay dirt. I was nicely notified by a Canadian family member that William Mack Foy had no place in her family. We still stay in touch. We hope that we can find a connection to our families. We both have the maiden name Foy. I believe William used Mack as his name when he became an adult.

Any suggestions how what to do next?

OMG! Thank you  for your answer. That sounds like a connection. I never expected a reply, much less a real lead! I will do further investigation. How did you find that? I have been searching for years on Mack Foy.
