New member introducing myself

Question

Hello  I am new to wikitree, but would like to know how it compares to Family. Search, as that is where I have had the most experience. Im sure there is still more I can discover on that site alone, but im glad I now have another resource

Welcome Margaret! Glad you chose to join. There are many advantages to this site.  I was drawn over from Family Search to this site too. I found I prefer this site, because it allows for all the information, documents, photos, etc. to be expanded upon and for a full story to be told about the individuals we are profiling.  I hope you enjoy it here as much as I do!

One difference that I particularly enjoy is the collaboration here in WikiTree and the pure dedication people have to creating robust genealogical information for the people in the shared family tree. There are many fun projects to participate in that not only help improve the quality of the information here, but also make the experience fun (and addicting ). Also, sign up for the Discord server, which allows you to chat with genealogists working on all kinds of WikiTree projects!

I use both FamilySearch and WikiTree and find they are complimentary when used together! -- Taneya

Thsnk you! I do have a question; how can I upload dna test? Its mitochondrial of course, but  im not so sure how to do it. I researched the haplogroup, too, but I have to find the notes I’d used
