Pre-1700 Self Certification Badge is GONE

Question

I just noticed that my pre-1700 self certification badge is gone. I don't know why... nobody ever notified me via message or email that it was going to be taken away from me, and I have done absolutely nothing to warrant it being taken away. As a result, I am no longer named as a profile manager on the pages which I once managed and for which I contributed a lot of heavy research and work. Furthermore, I am now unable to to adopt back those profile pages.

Roy, the badge is still showing on your profile and your list of badges.  Could there be another explanation for the problems you're seeing?

Dennis - It's showing in my badges because after I posted this message I went and took the pre-1700 self certification again, then re-adopted the profile pages for a couple of my ancestors which I had worked on.
