Can anyone help find where Samuel Ainsworth (1716-1789) came from?  He emigrated to Hanover Township in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1736.  I presume he's from England or Scotland.

There was a Samuel Ainsworth christened in Pott, Shrigley, Cheshire in 1721:

"England, Cheshire Parish Registers, 1538-2000," Samuel Ainsworth, 04 Nov 1721, Christening; citing 23, , Pott Shrigley, Cheshire, England, Record Office, Chester; FHL microfilm 2,105,376.

Don’t know if this is your man but there you are. Good luck!
