Watchlist and CC7 correlation question for the WikiTree Tech Squad

I often go and stare at my watchlist and try to figure out who to work on, or which profiles to orphan...

I know how to find my CC7 list and who is connected to me, but is there a way we could add a CC7 connection column to the Watchlist?

It would enable you see at a glance which profiles are closely related. Ideally, if you could then sort the table by CC7 count you could also see who is not connected to you... like all those profiles we create during the Connect-A-Thon and promise to go back and flesh out... wink

I appreciate any brainstorming and feedback! Thanks!

I hope you are aware that you can see the first 1000 people on your CC7 list at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:MyConnections&w=Daniels-2254 .
Ian Beacall was able to add these options to the Anniversary List via the WikiTree Browser Extension. Perhaps he could do the same thing to the Watchlist.
@Ellen - yes, I know where to find my CC7 list, and I have considered going out to CC8 and beginning to orphan those profiles - however - the CC7 list is sensitive to who is related to me, but has no specificity towards who I manage.

Conversely, my Watchlist is sensitive to who I manage but has no specificity towards who I am related to.

I want the middle bit of a Venn diagram of those two things.
It's your decision what to work on, but I'm a bit curious about why you want to focus on your watchlist, rather than working to add relatives to people who are related to you. Does your watchlist consist only of blood relatives?

Re "the CC7 list is sensitive to who is related to me, but has no specificity towards who I manage": if you use the CC7 Tree App, you can see who manages each profile in your CC7.

My recommendation would be to start by going to the My WikiTree menu (top left) and then looking at Suggestions. As you clean each suggestion, the WBE feature to show DIstance and Relationship will give you a clue if you want to orphan the profile when you have cleaned the suggestions.

Then as a next step, run Bio Check on your watchlist, and similarly see the Distance and Relationship when you are editing the profile.

Yes I occasionally look at my suggestion list as well. A lot of them right now are FinddAGrave suggestions.

It just depends on the day and how involved I want to get going down a rabbit hole and how much time I have etc.

Ultimately there's too much work and not enough WikiTime!!

In the Preview version of WBE, I've added the option "Add Distance and Relationship columns to Watchlist and Surname Genealogy tables" to the Table Filters and Sorting feature.  With the Distance and Relationship feature of the WBE, the distances and relationships of profiles that you visit are stored in your browser. These will be shown in the table. This is not perfect as it will only show the distances and relationships of profiles that you've visited while you've had this feature enabled in WBE.  But... I hope it helps.  (This will be in the stable version next month.)
