Google says there are a bit over 500 links to graememoad.com on Wikitree. Links like http://graememoad.com/family/PS01/PS01_119.HTM yield HTTP 404 and hence Error 965. A copy of the original page appears to now be at https://freepages.rootsweb.com/~moadfamily/family/Family/PS01/PS01_119.HTM From my tests so far, the last two components of the path map directly, but "http://graememoad.com/family/" needs to be replaced by the new prefix "https://freepages.rootsweb.com/~moadfamily/family/Family/" Can editbot be set to check the error list for URLs of that kind and if the edited URL resolves, replace it in the profile? Is this G2G post sufficient to request this fix be added to the queue?
Update: It looks like the owner has a Wikitree account (valid but not actively used), so I've tagged him. His one substantive edit changed http://graememoad.com/Family/Ships/leontine.htm to https://moadstorage.blob.core.windows.net/$web/Lehmann_Henschke/Ships/leontine.htm so that must be the intended future form.
Scott, is this worth it if the new links may also soon disappear?

I didn't know that. The graememoad website had been unavailable for a while but I found the rootsweb mirror/copy today.
Maybe he's going to rehost it again, but maybe this mirror will remain anyway:
https://support.rootsweb.com/s/article/Retiring-and-Migrating-Portions-of-RootsWeb says:
Hosted websites will become read-only beginning in early 2024. At that time, all logins will be disabled, but hosted sites will remain on RootsWeb as static content. Website owners wishing to maintain their sites must migrate to a different hosting provider before 2024.
Maybe the site is being rehosted back to somewhere under his own control

Can I tag @Moad-135 ?
