Paul Reitz has compiled a great deal of information on the Reitz family of Pennsylvania. Paul is generous in sharing the knowledge that he has accumulated about the family. I am very grateful for his contributions to the wikitree!!!! Thank you!!!!

Thank you, Beth, and all the others working to document our families in a traceable manner.  No "genea-theology"!

I have so much more info - tens of thousands of American Reitzes, a few thousand in my own line.  

But I get stuck... Like yesterday, simply trying to build out (Johan) Peter Reitz's (1788 - 1867) family.  To be able to connect his eldest 7 children means adding his first wife, Margaretha Elizabeth Schmidt, her name supported by baptism entries for several of their children, in Himmel's church records, and a newspaper record of their marriage.   But to add her, seems I was presented with a list of thousands of Wiki-Tree 'suggestions'.  Can that list be winnowed down to more reasonable number?

There is a way to winnow it down. You can scroll down and put in birth and death year. If that doesn't do it, you can also add the birth place.
