Any Parent related to Windsor/Detroit area

Question

Very hard to find relatives in these areas. Most I see are from Quebec. History books say Parent were first to farm and settled in Essex County as far as 17th century.

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:SearchPerson

with blank for First Name, Parent for Last Name, and Detroit for Birth Location Keyword(s)? This returns 57 results, many associated with Windsor and Essex County.
