One of my brick wall ancestors is James Creel, born about 1772 in Iredell County, NC to a Sarah Mozingo. He died in the Marion district of South Carolina, not far from my home in Horry County, SC. I have a photo of a family Bible page that lists his birth to her. I don't have any information at all about his father. I'm planning a trip to my local library to request the loan of a Creel Family History book by David Carl Creel from the Library of Congress, hoping that may shed some light on his father. Does anyone here that follows the Creel family have any info to share? Thanks so much!
