Is there a Kiev, Ukraine project? Jewish migration to Ukraine from Poland?

The Spanish diaspora brought Jews into the Ottoman Empire and some settled in Kiev, Ukraine.  The family names involved are Harry Entin or Entil.  Are there researchers on Wikitree involved in Jewish diasporas?

I looked and didn't see one.  On family search he appears as an arrival to Ellis Island.  He is family of my therapist who is Ashkenazi.  Had family in Galicia(Ottoman Empire). I am encouraging him to join Wikitree.  He senses he may also be Sephardic.  I have to consult with someone about my Spanish lineage I created in the beginning.  Thank you for your question.

Hi Gaye,  Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria was part of the Hapsburg Monarchy, Austrian Empire and then Austro-Hungarian Empire.  There is a project for it and it is closely weaved with with the Poland Project: Project: Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria.  The project points people in the direction of records and how they can better research their own lineage.  There is a misunderstanding that the project will do this work for them ... this is not the case, unless someone has the time.  You can always ask for assistance here in the G2G or just expand on this thread, as you will get more help here. :)

No one in the Poland Project is studying this migration to my knowledge. 

Please let the Poland Project know if you need any village categories created for profiles you study/create who settled in Poland.  You do so by placing a profile in the present day voivodeship.  We will create the village for you, but then make sure you add the newly created village category across all appropriate profiles. :)
