Another format change at FamilySearch?

It appears that another page format change may be in the offing at FamilySearch.  I just pulled up a 1940 indexed census entry:  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K9MQ-9DC.  That appears to be the same.  However, when you click on View Original Document, I see a new layout:  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L9M1-SSQ5?view=index&personArk=%2Fark%3A%2F61903%2F1%3A1%3AK9MQ-9DC&action=view&groupId=TH-1961-27871-12523-24.  The tools are laid out differently and there's a new expanded information section on the right.  It not only includes the indexed information for that entry, but additional info about the page/document.  The index at the bottom for other entries on the page is gone.  It's possible to get the old view back by lopping off the part of the URL after ?:  https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3QS7-L9M1-SSQ5.  I haven't seen these changes referenced elsewhere.

Edit:  Those additional indexed entries for the page can be viewed after clicking on the <- arrow at the top, right of the page next to the name (e.g. View Christopher Hornbacher).

It looks like this is going to cause some new work for Rob Pavey.  This new format isn't recognized by Wikitree Sourcer.
And there's no source citation copiable from this new view.
I did find the citation by closing the indexed persons info in the right pane; click left arrow (not X).  Then click the Group Data heading.  The citation is near the bottom.  This is going to take some getting used to if this will be the new standard format.
There is a feedback option on the left of the image.  Did anyone try sending feedback?

I have seen numerous “computer indexed” results for the last several weeks in church records from Mexico, analogous to this result.

I did a search in the FamilySearch help/community and the computer indexed records go back to at least 2022. I only saw these recently as noted above.

Interesting, I like the changes to original document view , and looks like it might be easier to edit info.

Maybe it's being implemented in stages, I didn't see anything like that yesterday looking at Canadian and English records.

Just checked seems Canadian Censuses are still the way they have been for years and England Censes are a  link to the National Archives, London, England

But the link took me to Find My Past not the British National Archives, which is a bit miserable as FMP is a pay site, unless they have all the links incorrect.

Yes I tried 3 different England census

The links have always gone to the Find My Past image but maybe they used to go elsewhere as well for the England and Wales census records.
The link that says British National Archives went to the Find My Past login page, not to the image.

I have a Find My Past account so it doesn't make a difference to me, but for others who don't have an account it seems to mean they will not be able to see the image.

Changes are a fact of life for all websites.  Sometimes an improvement and sometimes a not. I mostly like this one except it takes up more screen unless you close the right column. It does look like it might be being phased in which will annoy some people and will certainly make it "interesting" for Rob.
