Hi, I'm Mike Whelan. Born and bred in Scotland but with strong links to Ireland. I've been on Ancestry for a few years and have enjoyed pulling together my family tree. I'm interested in the WikiTree approach which is already helping to add a bit of discipline to my research. I'm hoping that I will be able to contribute here and be able to fill in some gaps in my knowledge.
I'm particularly interested in Whelan (Co. Laois) and McComisky, Downs and McCudden from Northern Ireland.
