Wikitree Sourcer producing 404 URL for Maine Marriages

Example - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/McNabb-1879 , source #2. The URL http://www.state.me.us/sos/arc/files/dbinfo.htm was produced by WikiTree Sourcer based on the Maine Marriage record hosted by Ancestry; this link is a 404 now and has been for several days, it seems to be a permanent change on the website and not a temporary outage.

That state.me.us link comes from the original data in the Ancestry record.

What would you prefer that WikiTree Sourcer do? It could ignore all URLs in the Ancestry original data. But sometimes they could be useful.

Perhaps if you search on maine.gov for the record, it might give you a new url.

The State shut down that web site a few years ago  with no replacement. I think the same record on family search does not include the defunct Maine url.     Getting Ancestry to fix is probably the best long term solution.
