Relationship Stickers - need Project help with update [closed]

Question

Hi! I'm starting off 2023 by playing catch-up with my to-do list, which I got way behind on last year.

One that I need help with is updating the WikiTree space page "Relationship Stickers". I have updated the Heritage Stickers category (the category "for stickers that can be used to illustrate your heritage, or that of your ancestors"), so that the stickers found in the space page can be found there or in the sub-category Member-Only Stickers.

If project leadership could check that stickers their project uses are listed, and let me know of any that aren't, I'd appreciate it. The Relationship Stickers page also has links to the main project page & any sticker/template-specific project page in the "Project-Specific Stickers" section. Let me know if I've missed something there too.

One potential problem with a page like this, is that it duplicates the work needed in order to update (discontinue, merge) a template.

Many of the old discontinued templates are not yet removed and cleaned out because they are linked to from space pages like this, and it is time consuming to go and update all those references. I don't recall the specific sticker right this second, but one of the old templates that is no longer used was documented on no less than 100 free-space pages. That took forever to clean up... Most of the time the pages were locked and we had to leave messages for the PM's, etc.

Wouldn't a new category (e.g., [[Category:Relationsip Stickers]]) be much easier to manage? The documentation should be updated on the template page itself, not duplicated to other pages because of the tendency to get out of date, etc.

Not really. I created this space page to fulfill a need. I think the need exists & cannot be met by a category. The space page is not difficult to maintain if I stay on top of it, but  2022 was not a good one for me & I fell behind.

However, if Team Wiki does not want this page to exist, please let me know & I will make it a Red privacy page for my own reference (I find it useful and would not want to lose my work to date).
