Mary, click on the image to get to the image page. You will see a place there with a list of 1 or more pages that are connected to the image. If you de-select all of them, then scroll down to click the big green SAVE button, the picture will no longer show on any profiles. It will still be in the system for a few days, in case you change your mind and want to get it back. After that, it will be deleted from the server.
Note: if the image is attached to more than 1 page and you still want it on some pages, then just leave those selected.
