Doyle sisters need help to search the Louisville Courier Journal Historical newspaper

Katie, Margaret, Bridget & Alice DOYLE - daughters of Patrick DOYLE & Katherine DONNELLY are lost in Louisville, KY circa 1860-19nn.  Who did they marry ? Most likely in a Catholic church.  Can you search the Louisvlle Courier Journal 1830-1922 at www.kentonlibary.org and locate info on them ?  There may be some newspaper item that connects DOYLE with their sister Mary Ann, wife of Patrick TULLY.

Take a look at their wikitree profiles. I have traveled to Louisville and searched without locating these sisters.  I have searched the KY newspapers at the Library of Congress - again no success.

I believe I found new information for Alice. It seems that she married a man named Guy Hamilton West in 1882 in Louisville.  She seems to have died in 1890 Indiana Louisville. Her death notice was asked to be copied in Cincinnati so she may have had a sister there too. I've updated the sources in family search.

The records do not mention her family, but she was the only Alice Doyle of the correct age (per death certificate and 1880 census) in Kentucky that I could find.  There is a possibility that this is a false match.

This census info does not answer the question because the 1860 census data is ALREADY listed in the wiki-tree profile of each of the DOYLE sisters.  They do not have any brothers.  This question is to find them after they are MISSING from the census.

Specifically - if anyone can access the LOUISVILLE newspapers at www.kentonlibrary.org - it would be a tremendous help to find them listed in some newspaper article - marriage or obit - likely linked to their sister Mary Ann, wife of Patrick TULLY.  Also they have a cousin Father Edward Arthur BURKE who may have performed the Catholic marriage.

There are dozens of DOYLE people in Kentucky.  I am looking for something specific to link these sisters.  Thanks !!

May not be your Patrick Doyle, but will dated 1899, lists only his wife Catherine.  But I would check the Witnesses, to see if they might be husbands of Doyle sisters.

Witness names are C G Richie, James Hickey and Wm Mudd.

I tried with Courier-Journal.newspapers.com. Put in Doyle/1870, got results, but only tiny view of each article. To actually read the article s, they want $7.95/month. I already subscribe to the Courier digitally, so thought I would see if I could access the archives. You might find something by searching like that.
