Hey WikiTree, can we help find the Australian relatives of this Pakistani man?

Read the SBS article first - short version is that Mumtaz Malik, a lawyer in Islamabad, is looking for the family of a relative who moved to Queensland in 1895.

I've done all the basic yardwork - [[Khan-642|Ally Bahadur Khan (abt.1872-1955)]] is the original relative who immigrated, and I've made fully-sourced profiles for his wife, his children, and their spouses. However I'm running out of free time to research and I've hit a wall with most grandchildren being born too recently to have birth records public. But maybe someone recognises a name, or has time to do some more digging.

Ally had one son - [[Khan-643|Ayoub Ally Khan (1897-1973)]], mentioned in the article - and four daughters. I've tagged the relevant surnames below.

Hope we can help reunite lost family!

It should be possible to trace the children in the electoral roll. Their children may also appear in the electoral roll at home and can then be traced forward up to 1980 in the electoral roll. Then it’s a jump to the present day. Either googling or looking in the current electoral roll. It’s a big  enough family, and you only need to catch one person.

Electoral  roll requires an Ancestry subscription which I don’t have BUT if potentially living descendants are identified, I can volunteer to go to the Electoral Commission office and look up the current roll.
Some of the children's profiles now have information from the electoral rolls. Some clues there as to subsequent children and possible locations.
Thanks so much for your help!
There are now three grandchildren in wikitree that would be worth tracing the in the electoral roll and seeing if any children are listed at the same address. I can then look those children up in the current electoral roll.

The grandchildren are:

If someone does the electoral roll research, please let me know.
1949 roll has Cecil Ahmed Ali (Fibrous plasterer) and Ayesha Ali living at Newdegate St, Greenslopes. Cecils's entry has the street number as 18. Street number not shown for Ayesha. In the 1963 roll Cecil is still at 18 Newdegate St but no other people with Ali surname on that roll.

1958 roll has Norman Rehman Ali (truck driver) and Mary Theresa Ali living at Miriam St, Holland Park, same in 1972. 1977 roll adds Anne Margaret Ali (Student teacher) at 15 Miriam St, Holland Park, same in 1980.

1958 roll has John Gool as station hand at Eastmere Station, Aramac. 1966 he is at 4 Gray Rd, West Ed. 1968 and 1972 he is at 41 Bond St, West End.
