The Weekly Genealogist newsletter that arrived in my inbox this morning states

A first volume of new research on immigrant arrivals to New England from 1636-1638 will be published in early 2023. This volume, researched by Ian Watson, will contain letters A-Be for these years. As planned, research will continue for the foreseeable future to cover those who arrive through the year 1640.

Oh, golly, Allen, Allins .... That will be great.

Great news!

I see only limited benefits regarding my direct ancestors in this collection, but this tells me we can look forward to the gradual roll-out of the next parts of the alphabet. yes

Does anyone have a clue what the profile format will look like?  Will it include root sourcing info in the profile?  Will women be listed as separate entities?

Good news, yes, but there are already many works about the PGM most of which ignore women.
