What was the maiden name of Isabella

Question

Isabella was the spouse of Robert Postgate, born 1765 Guisborough, Yorkshire. The surname Postgate has variations that I have found including Posgate, Poshkett & Poshkitt. 

All there children (9) were baptised in Whitby, Yorkshire & both Robert & Isabella can be found in the 1841 England census, living in Baxtergate, Whitby. The census, indicates Isabella was NOT born in Yorkshire.

Robert died in 1842, buried as Postgate, death registration in BMD Posgate. Not able to trace Robert in GRO death index..

Isabella died in 1856, (not traced in 1851 Census) registered as Isabella Postgate in GRO Index, age 88

The couple would have married around 1788, but where?

Perhaps this is her born Sunderland.

It may be a long shot but perhaps Postgate was also Postlethwaite. Marriage in Sedbergh in 1785.

That seems likely the correct Isabella. Can't open the 1851 Census on Ancestry to see her street address.

She was born in Sunderland according to the 1851 England Census - she was on Church Street 1851 but it's just round the corner from Grape Lane.
